Rub in circular motions from the center of the image outward in all directions until there are no bubbles or wrinkles in the cutout.

Separate the napkin layers before beginning.
Apply to the back of a glass plate or 1 4 down from the edge of a cup.
Once you learn to decoupage with napkins you re going to be hooked.
Let dry 1 2 hours between coats.
I want to share a bit of the process with you and some tips gathered from my getting crafty with mod podge group on facebook.
Use a foam brush or a soft bristled paintbrush to cover the area you wish to decorate.
Begin by applying modpodge in the center.
Allow the medium to dry then repeat two more times for a total of 3 coats of the medium.
You can usually find them for less than 0 20 each.
It comes in single 2 ply 3 ply or more.
Keep the glue in as thin a layer as possible.
Let dry for 1 2 hours and then apply 2 3 more coats.
Make sure there are no air bubbles underneath.
For decoupage purpose we only need the first layer which is printed.
Choose a dishwasher safe glue since this is the most water resistant type of glue available.
Repeat within a minute or two with additional images if.
Additional layers are plain white.
The small 4 x 4 tiles make great coasters.
There is also a medium 8 x 8 size tile which goes for about 0 50 each.
Lay the printed side of the cutout onto the ceramic item then use your fingers to gently smooth it out onto the surface.

Aside from the 12 x 12 tile there are different size ceramic tiles that you can use.
That is the size i use most often in my kitchen as a hot plate.
Dishwasher safe mod podge is the decoupage formula that you can apply to glass ceramic and metal.
At the same time before it dries up apply the tissue paper.
Spread a thin layer of decoupage glue over the plate.
A tissue paper comes in layer called ply.
Smooth the cutout onto the ceramic surface image side down.
